Alice in Wonderland Heels By: Nicholas Kirkwood

With the special Disney movie release for Alice in Wonderland, only weeks away. I’m coming to realize that we’re going to see more off-the-wall creations from top designers with their own spin to character wardrobe. A few weeks ago was able to preview the shoes sketches from Nicholas Kirkwood’s of an unconventional design inspired by character, March Hare from Alice in Wonderland. We’re now looking at the final product by the shoe designer which is specially crafted for Printemps store and windows. Nicholas Kirkwood is joined by designers Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander McQueen, Bernhard Willhelm, Charles Anastase, Christopher Kane, Chloé, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, and Maison Martin Margiela in projecting their special piece inspired by Alice and her friends. Printemps is dedicating its windows to Wonderlandiana from February 1 to March 13.
